At Shaw Foundation Corporation, This project aims to actively reduce those disparities by providing accessible, community-rooted, and culturally responsive support services tailored to youth ages 6–21, especially those in underserved neighborhoods. Our focus on mental health, substance use, and behavioral challenges directly responds to issues that disproportionately affect students of color—but are too often misunderstood or untreated in traditional settings.
The Shaw Foundation Corporation was officially founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to empower and support children, teens, and young adults through holistic mental health services and community-based programming. While the organization was formally established in 2025, our work began years earlier—providing care, mentorship, and guidance to children ages 6 and older in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. 501C3 focused on trauma service and anger issues.
At the Shaw Foundation Corporation, our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are deeply passionate about creating lasting change. From our volunteers and staff to our leadership and board members, each person brings a shared commitment to empowering children, adolescents, and adults through compassionate, community-centered support.
We believe in meeting people where they are—whether in schools, neighborhoods, or moments of personal need—and walking alongside them as they work toward healing, growth, and purpose. Our team’s diverse expertise and lived experiences fuel our mission every day.
